ハムステッドのThe Freemasons Armsへ。
ディスタンシングにも気を使います。
中はこぎれいなガストロパブ。
テラス席を希望。
店内での飲食している人も結構いました。
メニューもいい感じ。チェーン店ではないようです。
夏はやっぱりラガー!
ペローニを注文。
からの、フィッシュ&チップス。
おごちそうさまでした。
フィッシュ&チップスのボリューム感の小ささと、コッドの歯応えがなくふわふわだったのが残念。
久しぶりだったので良かったけど、期待値が上がりすぎていました。

このDirty Bertieを読み始めてから、格段に子供の英語が理解できるようになってきた。汚くてお下品な男の子の話。はなくそやら、くさい靴下やら、何でもあり。こういう汚い系のものが子供の笑いにつながるのは万国共通のようです。

Belsize Park(ベルサイズパーク)という、(ハムステッド)の丘の上のパブ。
Green King(グリーンキング)系列のお店。
夏は店内まで明るくて気持ちいい。入口表にも、内庭のテラスにも外の席がある。
Timothy Tailor’sというクラシックペールエールを注文。
スポーツテレビもあって、ポップな感じだけど、品もある店内。流石はハムステッド。
しばらくエールで喉の渇きを潤しながら、フィッシュアンドチップスを注文。
料理が来る前に、二杯目。Rohode Island。料理と一緒にも飲める、癖のないスッキリしたIPA。
マッシュドピーが、意外と美味しい。完全にすり潰し切らない、敢えてツブツブ感を残している感じ。
場所が良いけど、金曜日でもそこまで混んでいない。居心地最高。
テレビでは、女子ワールドカップ。静かに盛り上がる。ステキな夏の時間。
